Learning Letter
Although I am nervous and talk fast when it comes to presentations, I have a lot to say but it seems to come out in jibberish which I hope to work on. I loved every single project we had in this class because it was aimed towards our future and what we want to do so it was worth coming and learning, doing the projects and listening to what other people had to say as well because learning all of what other future teachers think are good methods, is definitely worth a listen to.
Theories and concepts we talked about were fun, I like them because we talked about what is serious about teaching and I feel as if a lot came from common core which is what we will be going off of for teaching in the future so everything was helpful in order to understand common core and how as future teachers we can tie it in to teaching and what we need to do with teaching it.
The participation in class was essentially everything. Paying attention to what is going on, peoples ideas, thoughts, concepts, teaching experience. I felt below the bar because there are people who are already in the education program and can almost present perfectly, but I loved watching them because we learn from each other every day, discussion is important and so is learning from our teacher and our peers. What I loved about this class is the professor was learning with us and helping us learn and was interested to hear what every body had to say. It was caring, inspiring, and one of the most helpful things I have had in a classroom that is relationship based because it felt just as if things went smoother and there wasn't a whole lot of pressure of right and wrong, but rather learning and that was the best about this class.
