Why
I chose this text?
I chose this text because in every section there is a
check mark next to whether or not the lesson plan is appropriate for elementary
and or middle school/high school or appropriate for both. There is also ways
that each one can be implemented in a classroom for each lesson, along with
goals and reflections for you to look back on what to reflect on with the
lesson and with the students, how things went overall, there are also
worksheets which just gives a lot of help for the classroom as a whole.
How
would I implement this?
I would implement this in to my class by using what
would be middle school/high school appropriate and maybe even some that might
be middle/high and elementary appropriate. There are some good examples of ones
I like specifically that I would implement.
(Page 136) (Page 139) (Page 151) Are a few examples of
each one I like and enjoy, I would also consider implementing.
Potential
challenges:
I think since there are so many ways of interpreting
all of these ideas, my only challenge would be trying to find ways in every
lesson that work well with everyone and how everyone takes it and reading my
classroom of students so they know what I am trying to get across and vary that
class to class with trial and error per lesson what works with what and who.
